embrace Western New York is dedicated to equality and fairness within Western New York and seeks to raise awareness, understanding and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community amongst all citizens.
About Us
embrace Western New York is a local, non-profit organization comprised of LGBTQ+ and allies that are members of the Western New York community. A Board of Directors handles the philanthropic responsibilities of the organization.
The 2024 members of embrace Western New York are: David M. Comstock, Bryan Ball, Ashley Litwin, Harry Carter, Jeffrey Moyer, John Stoddard and Gary Wilson.

Buffalo Brunch
The Buffalo Brunch honors individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that help celebrate and embrace the LGBTQ+ community within the greater Western New York area.
The annual Buffalo Brunch was initiated in 1996.
Community Service Award
Honorees receive the “Community Service Award” for their efforts (past, present & future) in furthering our mission of Through Education All Things are Possible. In addition to the awards, the Buffalo Brunch is the principle fundraising activity for embrace Western New York. Both the Buffalo Brunch & embrace Western New York firmly believe in “Giving local …Supporting Local.” Proceeds from the Buffalo Brunch are disbursed through embrace Western New York in the form of community grants & sponsorships, as well as educational scholarships for local post secondary students receiving an education locally.
